Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The contribution is original and unpublished, and is not being evaluated for publication by another journal; otherwise, it must be justified in "Comments to the editor".
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice or RTF format.
- Where available, URLs for references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; uses italics instead of underlining (except for URL addresses) and figures and tables are inserted in the text.
- The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in Diretrizes para Autores, on the About the journal page.

ABOUT COPYRIGHT
By submitting a text to the journal, the author agrees with all rules, whether editorial or administrative. Submission implies immediate authorization for possible publication, with the transfer of copyright to the Journal and permanence for an indefinite period, in case of publication.
Themes will be defined for each publication of the magazine Ciência (In)Cena and only works that contemplate the perspective of the proposed theme will be accepted. If the text is accepted by the Editorial Board and there is a lack of space for publication, the text becomes part of the next issue, as long as it is related to the theme.
Within one year, if there is no concrete prospect of publishing the work, it will be released for publication in another journal, based on a written request from the authors.
