Abstract

This research is a case report performed upon the medical record analysis and interview of a pregnant patient with gestational diabetes, which clinical course ended in fetal death, and was admitted in a hospital in Caninde-CE. The objective is to analyze the gestational diabetes impact for the fetus, and the importance is the necessity of taking measures to avoid fetal death outcomes. The patient had her antenatal appointments negatively affected not only because of its late onset, lack of medical tests and primary care supplies, but also for the late management of her hyperglycemic condition.
