Keywords:

This study consists of an analysis of the elements that make up the Indigenous Peoples Park, installed in Palmas, capital of the State of Tocantins in 2017. The objective is to identify and analyze if the elements built to honor indigenous peoples are representative of their culture. The methodology was based on ethnography, with the capture of images of the elements built in the place, by the research author, to represent the culture of these peoples, adding an interview relevant to the objective. The results and discussions of the analysis led to questions about the representative elements installed in the park that pay homage to the Indigenous People, which aims to provoke reflections on decisions without public consultation.
