Due to the appreciation of the labor force for the market, it emphasizes the importance of people to achieve organizational objectives, which causes a demand for better working conditions, leading to the implementation of Quality of Life at Work (QVT) Programs, which aim to increase motivation and well-being in the organizational environment with a view to improvements in production processes. The search for QVT becomes a priority in the private and public sectors. This dissertation aims to analyze the main theories on QVT in the scope of public agencies, bringing to light the origin, conceptualization, schools of thought on Quality of Life at Work,with emphasis on five evaluation models, namely: Nadler and Lawler's Model; Hackman and Oldham; Westley; Werther and Davis; and Walton. To present the subject, a study was conducted based on bibliographic research at the exploratory level and qualitative analysis.
