It problematizes youth plurality in peripheral contexts, for which we resort to the sociology of Youth, in particular the work “Introduction to Sociology of Youth” by Luís Antonio Groppo, as a basic theoretical contribution. To this we articulate the empirical material collected and analyzed through collective interviews with young residents of loteamento Kephas, in the municipality of Novo Hamburgo/RS. The triangulation and data analysis highlights that the young collaborators of the study confront the stereotypes built about peripheral youth, commonly associated with criminality, low education and absence of work.
2025-01-15T00:00:00-03:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Tatiane Moura de Oliveira, Doutora, Doutora https://estacio.periodicoscientificos.com.br/index.php/revistahorus/article/view/1652 FAMILY HOMOPHOBIA, THE MOST PAINFUL PHOBIA: A RESTORATIVE LOOK FROM THE MOVIE PRAYERS FOR BOBBY 2024-04-19T09:21:23-03:00 Sandra Gonçalves Daldegan França sandra_daldegan@hotmail.com Renato Bernardi bernardi@uenp.edu.br André Martini Martini.andre@escola.pr.gov.br
Following the line of interdisciplinary studies of Law and Cinema, this research has as its starting point the american film Prayers for Bobby (2009), directed by Russell Mulcahy. The objective is to analyze the family conflicts of LGBTQIAP+ people from the perspective of the application of Restorative Justice and its practices. The film portrays the story of Bobby, a boy who reveals his homosexuality to his parents, siblings and other family members and suffers from them prejudice and oppression. The sensitivity of the theme portrays Bobby's psychological profile, which gradually becomes fragile, given the failed attempts to fit the social standard required by the family and the church. To this end, the analysis of legal issues is inspired by the plot of the film and uses a hypothetical-deductive reasoning, with qualitative connotation, since it seeks to study the positive and negative contributions of Restorative Justice.
2025-01-15T00:00:00-03:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Sandra Gonçalves Daldegan França, Renato Bernardi, André Martini https://estacio.periodicoscientificos.com.br/index.php/revistahorus/article/view/2664 FOOTBALL ORGANIZED FAN GROUPS AND THEIR INTERFACES 2024-07-16T17:51:28-03:00 Tainara Silva de Araújo tainaratoc@mail.uft.edu.br Adrielle Lopes de Souza adrielle.lopes@gmail.com Adriano Lopes de Souza adriano.lopes@mail.uft.edu.br
The present study aims to map the production of scientific articles published in national journals on organized football fan groups. We employed a systematic literature review with a descriptive qualitative design. The search was conducted in major national journals with WebQualis B2 or higher in the Physical Education field, using the following descriptors: "organized fan group," "organized fan," and "organized female fan" (both in singular and plural forms). Based on the applied filters, the sample for this systematic review comprised a total of 18 articles, categorized into three thematic areas: 1- Violence (eight articles); 2- Leisure Activities (four articles); 3- Club Membership (six articles). The results highlighted that the issue of violence remains a predominant aspect within the theme of organized football fan groups. It is concluded that there is a need to challenge the belief, mainly perpetuated by the media, that violence in Brazilian football is solely a result of the actions of organized fan groups. Hence, the importance of conducting studies that provide empirical counterpoints against such discriminatory and superficial beliefs.
2025-01-15T00:00:00-03:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Tainara Silva de Araújo, Adrielle Lopes de Souza, Adriano Lopes de Souza https://estacio.periodicoscientificos.com.br/index.php/revistahorus/article/view/2919 Health promotion and control of hypertension in children and adolescents: what do schools, governance, the community and the SUS need to implement? 2024-07-29T15:57:11-03:00 Carlos Kusano B. Using the historical-materialist-dialectical method, it explores how the capitalist mode of production has structured a notion of legal subjectivity based on binary gender division and hetero-cisnormativity. Through a critique of value and legal form, the study reveals how dissident subjectivities, such as travestility, are systematically marginalized and relegated to material and social precarity. Nevertheless, by destabilizing gender binarism, travestis challenge the limits of the subjectivity required by capital, resisting its exclusionary norms and diapositives. The conclusion highlights that, while legal recognition of diverse subjectivities constitutes a discursive advance, it remains constrained to a system that subsumes differences under the totalizing logic of value.
2025-01-22T00:00:00-03:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Maria Eduarda Antunes da Costa, Diogo Mariano Carvalho de Oliveira https://estacio.periodicoscientificos.com.br/index.php/revistahorus/article/view/2141 Gender and health: the performativity of trans bodies under the biopolitical perspective of the Metatheory of Fraternal Right 2024-04-22T18:28:13-03:00 Janaína Machado Sturza janasturza@hotmail.com Paula Fabíola Cigana paulafcigana@hotmail.com Gabrielle Scola Dutra gabrielle.scola@unijui.edu.br
This research focuses on producing discussions about the communication link between gender, bioethics and health of trans bodies. The investigation is conducted through the hypothetical-deductive method and instructed by bibliographical and documental analysis. The theoretical basis chosen for the articulation of the aforementioned research is of a biopolitical nature, based on the Metatheory of Fraternal Law, developed by the Italian jurist Eligio Resta and materialized in his work Il Diritto Fraterno. At first, the complexity instilled in the gender and bioethics triad in the context of trans bodies is addressed. Secondly, the sophistication of the phenomenon of violence in complex society is studied. Finally, the potentiality of the Metatheory of Fraternal Law to unveil the paradoxes of the right to health in favor of the performativity of trans bodies in Brazil is analyzed. Faced with the intersection between the gender identity element, bioethical complexity and the right to health, the following question arises: is it possible to analyze trans bodies from the biopolitical perspective of the Metatheory of Fraternal Law? It appears that it is possible to perceive fraternity as a biopolitical mechanism that reveals the paradoxes instilled in the aforementioned problematic intersection.
2025-01-29T00:00:00-03:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Janaína Machado Sturza, Paula Fabíola Cigana , Gabrielle Scola Dutra
